Erebero Hills

Bwindi, Rwanda

In the far south-west corner of Uganda, where morning mist settles over ancient hillsides and more than half the world’s mountain gorillas make their home, something extraordinary is taking shape. Erebero Hills is more than a lodge — it’s a commitment to one of Earth’s most biodiverse places, a commitment to community transformation, and a gateway to encounters that will reshape how you see the world.

Opening in August 2026, Erebero Hills represents Asilia Africa’s expansion into Uganda, bringing three decades of safari expertise and a signature approach to positive-impact tourism to the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Perched on the northern edge of Bwindi, the lodge offers sweeping views over the rolling green canopy. Its distinctive wave-like roofline echoes the undulating forest landscape, creating an architectural dialogue that honours rather than dominates this ancient place.

Erebero is not just a lodge, but an entire Uganda experience — from the life-changing encounter with mountain gorillas to the rich tapestry of community-based experiences that make this destination unlike anywhere else in East Africa.
