Little Mombo is a celebration of our conservation purpose, and together with Mombo, is the spiritual home of the Botswana Rhino Reintroduction Project. It combines luxury and service excellence with a celebration of the amazing natural splendour that is the Mombo Traversing Area. Mombo
Long known as “the Place of Plenty,” Mombo boasts enormous concentrations of plains game and predators and is considered to be one of the best areas for game viewing in Africa. Qorokwe
The area comprises 26 180 hectares (64 692 acres) of scattered acacia woodland, occasional wetland and seasonal floodplains. The concession is situated in the south-eastern part of the Okavango Delta and is separated from the well-known Moremi Game Reserve by the Gomoti Channel. The Santantadibe River forms part of the western boundary of the concession and is typical habitat of the Okavango Delta, with seasonal palm-dotted islands, wooded islands, tranquil waterways and dry woodland areas. This ensures a year-round, diverse variety of wildlife and birding habitats that make Qorokwe unique.
