All about Private Mobile Safaris

We run our mobiles in the NG12 concession area of the Okavango Delta. An area of unsurpassed diversity, the area has more wildlife species than any other in Botswana and to experience the pristine wilderness on the move is magical.

About the camp
Activities
    Year Round:
  • Game drive in search of lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, hippo, sitatunga and a plethora of birds.
    • Seasonal:
  • Fishing 01 Apr - 31 Dec. No fishing permitted Jan - Mar due to breeding season.
  • Mokoro and boat trips through the shallow channels of the Delta. Subject to water levels.
  • Sleep in a mosquito net tent in our fly camp and enjoy the freedom of a night in the open.

  1. Air Travel Daily flights

    There are direct flights from Johannesburg and Cape Town to Maun in Botswana, where you will meet our crew and travel to the NG12 area of the Delta.

You will sleep in traditional Meru tents

Food Experience

We are renowned for menus that are fresh and original. Meals are plated, not buffet style. Please inform reservations of any dietary requirements prior to travel.

What else do I need to know?

We welcome all ages! (please refer to our rates for child policies).

There is no electricity, internet connection or cell phone signal on our Expeditions.

You may charge camera batteries from a 12-volt car battery.

Our vehicles are open with rooftop seats and fit a maximum of 7 people.

Please consult your doctor for recommended vaccinations.

The camp takes a maximum of 14 guests.

What is a good time to go?

NG12 Delta Expeditions operate all year round but please note that Oct - Jan is low water season. During this time, mokoro activity & fly camping is limited.

Green Season: 01 Nov – 15 Apr
